In February 2024, the Walt Disney World Railroad’s Roger E. Broggie locomotive, also known as Walt Disney World Railroad No. 3, triumphantly steamed back into service after undergoing a five-year refurbishment. The locomotive was comprehensively restored at the Strasburg Railroad Workshop starting in June 2019. The iconic locomotive, named after Disney Legend and Imagineer Roger Broggie, played a crucial role in developing the Disney World Railroad experience and is a delight for Disney fans.
